Third-Party Events

Name Forgotten Harvest beneficiary for your next event. From a simple Jeans Day collection at the office (collect money from co-workers to wear jeans to work) to a golf outing or dance, third-party events are a great way to get involved and create awareness for Forgotten Harvest. We are happy to assist you in any way we can, from providing a speaker, banners, video or brochures.

Holiday Cards

Our holiday cards are a great way to show friends, family and colleagues that you support Forgotten Harvest. The cards are designed, printed and donated by local creative agencies and printers, ensuring that 100% of your purchase goes to Forgotten Harvest. Cards and envelopes are sold in packs of 25 for $23. Single cards are available for $1 each. See them all here

MAIN COURSE EVENTS

Forgotten Harvest’s two annual fundraising events generate support, awareness and publicity. Both events attract over 500 people and provide a great backdrop to showcase your company’s community involvement. Sponsorship benefits include: invitations, signage/banners, program books, website, press releases and more. Product placement opportunities are also available. Our elopment and Events Departments will work closely with you to maximize your sponsorship and benefits. 16th Annual Comedy Night 2008

Our signature event is an annual favorite of our sponsors and supporters. Local funnyman Tim Allen, a founding friend to Forgotten Harvest, headlined at the first Comedy Night in 1992. Since then, many nationally recognized comic acts have followed in his footsteps to deliver countless laughs and much needed support for Forgotten Harvest. This event has raised over $2.1 million since its inception.

Champagne Cruise 2008

The premier Woodward Dream Cruise Preview Party is a sell-out event each year. It’s an elegant, casual evening of chilled champagne, live Motown music, a taste fest of delicious food from the best area restaurants and plenty of classic car watching. Champagne Cruise has grown year after year and our guests will agree, it’s a party that can’t be missed!

Souper Bowl of Caring®

Youth from congregations and schools use large soup pots to receive donations the week before or the Sunday morning of the Super Bowl football game. Every dollar raised is then donated to a local hunger-related agency. Involvement teaches young people that they can make a positive difference in the lives of others. Out to End Hunger Campaign - May, 14, 2008

What if metro Detroit donated the money they spent on lunch for one day to Forgotten Harvest? This one-day initative started by Forgotten Harvest is an easy community service project for your office, group or school. This is your chance to get creative, have fun with your co-workers and friends, and make a difference in the lives of hungry families in our community. Our last event raised over $12,000 in one day!

Double Your Dollars! Employee Match Contributions

You can double or triple your gift to Forgotten Harvest if you or your spouse work for one of over a thousand companies! Check with your HR department to find out if your company has a matching gift program. If your company has a matching gift program, you can obtain a matching gift form from your employer. Forms should be available from the human resources department. Just fill out the form according to guidelines and send to us with your donation.
