…Meanwhile, staff members and volunteers of Forgotten Harvest were on hand Monday at the Jermaine Jackson Community Center on Orchard Street to receive free food during the ongoing pandemic.

Mayor Kropp said the nonprofit plans to return every Monday at least while Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-home executive order is in place.

“Forgotten Harvest is going to keep monitoring the need, but as long as the need is still there, they’re going to definitely make sure they’re serving our community, which is terrific,” she said.
