Forgotten Harvest teams with local pantries, places of worship to feed those in need during the holidays

During this holiday season and throughout the year, Forgotten Harvest teams up with many Downriver faith-based organizations to bring food that would otherwise be discarded to the more than 589,000 people in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties who live in poverty. The Manna Ministry of the Road Church in Allen Park, headed by Pastor Timothy Jones, operates outreach centers in Southgate and Lincoln Park and is committed to linking physical and spiritual needs. The Manna Ministry is a dynamic partnership working regularly with various churches, senior co-ops and other helping agencies, primarily in the Downriver Area.
