Welcome to Forgotten Harvest Farms!

Forgotten Harvest Farms is the culmination of a dream that has been in the making since Dr. Nancy Fishman, our founder, began the organization and had the audacity to believe that we could “rescue” the surplus food of businesses, wholesalers, farmers, dairies, and more.

Forgotten Harvest Farms is situated on more than 95 acres of land, donated for use by the Moroun Family. Since 2013, we have grown and harvested nearly seven million pounds of produce at Forgotten Harvest Farms. We are committed to being certain that metro Detroit families in need will have the benefit of fresh, healthy foods that are too often unavailable or unaffordable to them.

See our video below and hear the powerful testimony of the life event that prompted Nora Moroun’s commitment to helping us feed the hungry and our innovative plans for the 2015 harvest season.
