During the third round, Top 10 Cares raised nearly $95,000 to provide 5,000 meals to those in need. Those meals were delivered and distributed to people in need through Forgotten Harvest last Wednesday and Thursday. The meals provided were made by Jones and the inaugural class of Detroit Free Press/Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers Food Fighters. Volunteers served dishes like SheWolf’s stuffed green peppers and ziti, Bunny Bunny’s beef stew, and Batch Brewing Co.’s pork shoulder with green beans and roasted herbed potatoes.
