Forgotten Harvest in Oak Park hosted its annual Women’s Harvest Lunch fundraising event on Oct. 16 at Eastern Market Shed 5 in Detroit. The lunch brought together women, businesses, and community leaders who are committed to alleviating hunger and reducing food loss. The event featured a coursed luncheon highlighting some of the seasonal and nutritious ingredients the organization distributes to the community. The Women’s Harvest Lunch also included a panel discussion, networking, and online and silent auctions.
