OAK PARK — The Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan Agent Charitable Fund (ACF) recently donated a 36’ refrigerated trailer to Forgotten Harvest, a Michigan regional food bank dedicated to relieving hunger and preventing nutritious food waste in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.
This donation marks the fifth refrigerated trailer ACF has donated to one of Michigan’s regional food banks to assist with their food distribution needs.
“We are excited to partner with Forgotten Harvest on this contribution and bring our fifth refrigerated trailer home to southeast Michigan,” said ACF Committee member and Northville agent Werner Scherz, who led ACF’s coordination efforts for this project.
