Our community is PACKED with people ready to jump

Our community is PACKED with people ready to jump in and lend a hand how they can, and that includes our younger members, like Miles.

At 12 years old, Miles is preparing for his bar mitzvah and decided to create and sell Hanukkah cookie kits for his bar mitzvah project. After a couple of weeks creating in his family’s kitchen, Miles packed and hand-delivered 218 cookie kits, making $3,146—all of which he donated to Forgotten Harvest!

Miles and his father Ari visited our headquarters to make the donation, meet our President & CEO, and hear how their generosity will make a difference. That $3,146 will help us get over 9,400 meals to our community! What an impact!

We’re honored you chose Forgotten Harvest as a charity partner, Miles! Keep up the great work!

We heard you all were looking for an update from Forgotten Harvest Farms!!
On Thursday, February 12, a small group of super volunteers and staff harvested 300–400 pounds of fresh spinach from the greenhouse. The greenhouse made it feel like spring had arrived early with temps reaching 70°. It was a beautiful day to harvest. 🍃😎
The spinach even got to listen to a little dad rock while we picked (don’t worry, they get classical music on the off days 😉).

Some of the plants didnt stand a chance with the last freeze, but have no fear, nothing goes to waste at FH. We put the wilted greens along the new deer fence for our friend Penelope the deer. We’re sure she was excited to help with cleanup.

Thank you for everyone who joined, and we hope our community members who receive some spinach from the farm enjoy. 💚💚
