Back-to-School PB&J Drive
As students head back to school, one lunchbox favorite never goes out of style… the peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
For many families across Metro Detroit, keeping the pantry stocked with simple, shelf-stable lunch essentials can be a challenge. Peanut butter, other nut and seed butters, jams, and jellies are staples that can quickly become a breakfast, lunch, or snack.
This August, Forgotten Harvest is collecting nonperishable PB&J essentials to help families start the school year with confidence.
How You Can Help
Donate jars of peanut butter
👉 Donate almond butter, sunflower butter (SunButter), or other shelf-stable nut and seed butters
👉 Donate grape jelly, strawberry jam, fruit preserves, or honey
👉Make a monetary donation, allowing Forgotten Harvest to purchase additional lunchtime essentials
Together, we can help ensure Metro Detroit families have access to nutritious everything they need to get the school year started right.
