Forgotten Harvest is gearing up for a busy holiday season as the need for food assistance continues to grow. “We’re able to serve about 100,000 families in the metro Detroit area each month,” said Mary Moore-Butler, Volunteer Program Manager at Forgotten Harvest. “With funding being cut, we’re seeing people come through our doors that have never had to rely on organizations like ours in the past. So, we couldn’t do what we do without volunteer groups assisting our organization and the impact that we make.”
