Make a difference in someone’s life today in honor of Paul Cooper.

Forgotten Harvest is Michigan’s largest food rescue organization. Last year alone, we rescued over 44 million pounds of fresh, excess food from grocery stores, restaurants, farmers, and more to deliver free of charge to our neighbors in need. Our organization can only do this work because of people like Paul Cooper.

Paul was a former employee of Forgotten Harvest, and spent a lifetime in service to his communities through class presidencies in school, Army service during the Vietnam crisis, PTA committees, sports coaching, work with Forgotten Harvest and other food insecurity-focused organizations, and, of course, being a husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Cooper was an invaluable member of the Forgotten Harvest team, someone who many of our current team members still remember as endlessly generous and pioneering in our expansion.

We will be adding a brick to our patio in honor of Paul, thanks to John Whalen and Jeff Diggs. This donation page will track those making a contribution in Paul’s honor, and we’ll inform you of an unveiling party once the brick is installed!
